Andjélika Kichian is a PhD student in management sciences at Université Paris-Saclay, within the RITM laboratory, supervised by Dr. Pauline de Becdelièvre. Her doctoral research focuses on collaboration between Human Resources professionals and middle managers, and examines how unresolved organizational tensions contribute to workplace incivility and psychosocial risks. Drawing on paradox theory and systemic approaches, her work seeks to identify the mechanisms through which organizational design shapes everyday managerial practices and collective health. She holds a Master’s degree in Management and Organizational Studies and has built a multidisciplinary career across human resources, higher education, and organizational development. Since 2007, she has held management positions involving direct responsibility for teams, budgets, and performance, notably as a profit-center manager in operational environments. Prior to her PhD, she served as HR Manager in the personal services sector and later as Program Director in business and engineering schools. Her professional background combines operational leadership, training design, and field-based intervention. Through qualitative and ethnographic methods, her research bridges academic inquiry and real-world organizational challenges, with the ambition to produce actionable frameworks for healthier and more coherent forms of governance.
