The ALCOR Research Day will take place on Thursday, February 5, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., at APF France Handicap, 17 Boulevard Auguste Blanqui, 75013 Paris.
Entitled “Caring Connections: Cross-Perspectives on Caregiving”, this research day aims to explore caregiving through diverse academic and professional lenses. Discussions will focus on research addressing care pathways, support and accompaniment practices, organizational and digital tools, and forms of coordination among stakeholders involved in care.
Programme highlights
The day will open with a welcome session and breakfast, followed by a series of academic presentations offering complementary perspectives on caregiving, including:
-
the dynamics between caregivers and healthcare professionals,
-
digital ecosystems supporting caregivers,
-
research-intervention approaches in mental health care pathways,
-
and the skills developed through caregiving work.
In the afternoon, a round-table discussion will bring together academics and practitioners to reflect on caregiving within care pathways and on coordination between actors.
